SOODLE DEFINITION: TO WALK IN A SLOW OR LEISURELY MANNER
Soodle Street Studio is the invention of collage artist Caitlín Bane; a home for her hand-collaged recycled paper illustrations.
Graduating from the University of Plymouth with a first class degree in Fine Art and Art History, Caitlín went on to gain a Masters in History of Art from the University of East Anglia. Originally from Hertfordshire, Caitlín now lives in Norwich, UK.
Caitlín creates paper collage illustrations inspired by architecture, wanderlust and an interest in history, sustainable preservation and a instinct to play with colour.
From the New York City skyline to the North Norfolk Coast, Caitlín enjoys recreating the personality of places in collage.
Soodle Street Studio aims to be as kind to the planet as possible in both process and product. Each illustration is hand-collaged from discarded paper that would otherwise be thrown away such as junk mail, advertising and old magazines.
